Eric Cheung is a Research Director in Gartner's Application Services team.
Prior to joining Gartner, Eric Cheung worked at both large tech firms and start ups, starting from professional services into functions including account management and product management. He has worked across a range of technologies and vendors in the enterprise applications space from Oracle, Workday, Salesforce and more.
Mr. Cheung completed an M.B.A. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) where he worked across various labs in launching their IP into new ventures, licensed IP, start-ups, etc.
At NetSuite, Mr. Cheung started as an associate consultant leading global enterprise deployments for a number of key clients for the company and was a cofounder of the Advertising, Media and Publishing vertical business unit as the company began developing vertical centric specialties. At Blend Labs, he was a deployment lead, managing a team of consultants in deploying an application developed for the mortgage industry and assisting product management in developing its product roadmap from customer feedback. At Oracle, Mr. Cheung worked across many departments, but most notable was his work as a director in the SuiteSucess initiative which had him working as a principal solution architect for one of those offerings, and coordinating efforts across sales, account management, services, competitive intelligence, product management and a number of other departments within Oracle.
