Faith Vakil is a Director Analyst in the Finance practice, focused on supporting FP&A leaders and CFOs with Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting strategy and process best practices. She also supports Corporate Controllers with Process Excellence and Internal Control best practices.
Prior to serving as a Gartner Analyst, Faith was a Gartner Research and Key Initiative Leader of various Finance areas including: Planning Budgeting and Forecasting; Internal Control and Technical Accounting; and Finance Leader Effectiveness. Before joining Gartner, Faith was a Finance and Accounting practitioner as Director of Financial Reporting and FP&A at a large North American publicly-listed financial services organization. She started her Finance career in Financial Auditing and Hedge Fund Analysis before becoming an Accounting Operations Manager responsible for high profile accounting process and policy transformation efforts, SOX remediation efforts and shared FP&A/Controller systems implementations. Faith also performed independent financial and management consulting services for large global publicly-listed companies and federal contract pricing services.
