Ian Beale is a Vice President Advisor with the Audit and the Risk Leadership Councils supporting leaders of risk and audit functions throughout EMEA. Mr. Beale provides thought partnership to the leaders of Risk and Audit, shares insights and the building of effective action plans to drive improvement in performance. He leads meetings and webinars with multiple clients, with single client teams and works with individuals. He also runs the Risk management in Financial Services meetings for leaders of ERM in financial service firms. During 2020 and into 2021 he has been hosting virtual roundtables for CAEs each month to provide regular opportunities for this client group to interact during the turbulent environment caused by the pandemic.

Previous experience

Mr. Beale was Director of Audit and Risk Management at three U.K.-based companies. He was responsible for running the internal audit team that reviewed all areas of the company. He was responsible for risk management including the setting up of company policies, management control self-assessment program, and setting up the whistleblowing process. He was also responsible for the corporate global insurance program including claims' management and the captive insurer. Prior to these roles, he worked at PwC.
