Jane Barrett is the Group Vice President for Gartner's Supply Chain Research group. Ms. Barrett leads the supply chain analyst group covering three aspects of supply chain:
- End-to-end supply chain functions (plan, source, make, deliver, customer service and product life cycle) for the manufacturing and retail sectors
- Industry-specific coverage of consumer, healthcare and B2B value chains
- Supply chain strategy and enablers

Ms. Barrett joined Gartner following the company's acquisition of AMR Research in late 2009. She joined AMR in June 2006 and has participated in research covering supply chain strategy, sales and operations planning, segmentation and complexity management, supplier management, high-mix/low-volume configuration, metrics and scorecards, and the role of COEs.
Prior to joining AMR Research, Ms. Barrett spent more than 20 years in IT, manufacturing, technology and consulting industries. She moved from South Africa to the U.S. in July 2000.
