Janet Suleski is a Research Director in Gartner's Supply Chain Research team. Ms. Suleski's current research coverage includes product innovation, product portfolio planning and management, agile product development practices, new product introductions, product retirement and portfolio optimization best practices, product life cycle management (PLM) best practices and alignment with S&OP, and S&OP general topics and maturity assessments. Her research applies to a wide variety of manufacturing industries, including consumer goods, personal care, industrial, high tech, medical devices, pharmaceutical, and more. She also covers PLM technology for the fashion, apparel, and footwear industries.
Ms. Suleski has 25 years of experience in supply chain business and technology research spanning a wide variety of subject areas. Her past research coverage included retail ERP, fresh item management, point-of-sale, and price optimization software and business processes. She has also covered inventory optimization; strategic sourcing and procurement; collaborative planning, forecasting and replenishment (CPFR), supplier collaboration and supply chain event management.
