Katsushi Shiga is a Research Vice President in Gartner Research, where Mr. Shiga is part of the Software Application team. His main responsibility is research and analysis of collaboration and communications areas, including email systems and collaboration tools. Before joining the Software Application team, Mr. Shiga worked as a Gartner analyst covering the IT demand research, which provided research and analysis of IT end users. He also covered the personal computer market and related technology for 10 years. Prior to joining Gartner, he worked as the Editor and Writer of Specialty Personal Computer Monthly magazine for eight years.
