Lisa Kart is a Vice President at Gartner in the Research Architecture and Methodologies team focused both on Gartner's core research business and its Digital Markets business (including Capterra, GetApp, and Software Advice). She brings a wealth of analytics expertise and leadership experience including Gartner's Office of the Ombuds, and five years as a Gartner analyst, and prior to Gartner, experience as a product manager, consultant, data scientist and researcher.
As VP of Content Strategy, she leads a team that drives content innovations and process improvements, and is a liaison between Gartner Research & Advisory and Gartner Digital Markets, ensuring alignment and improving content. As Ombuds, she worked with all Gartner business units to protect Gartner's independence and objectivity, with a focus on Digital Markets. Prior to that, Ms. Kart was a Research Director in the Data and Analytics team, covering data science and advanced analytics, where she was a key contributor to building Gartner's coverage of data science, machine learning and optimization.
Prior to joining Gartner, she was with Fair Isaac Corp. (commonly known as FICO), where she was director of Product Management for FICO's analytics products and services. She also worked as an analytics consultant, helping financial services organizations optimize decisions across the customer life cycle. Before FICO, Ms. Kart was a scientist at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, where she analyzed risks and decisions for the U.S. Department of Energy.
