Mr. Gattoni-Celli joined Gartner in March 2018. He is an experienced writer who enjoys delving into technical subjects. Until April 2020 he worked in Gartner's Finance Practice, on projects ranging from strategic planning to robotic process automation to internal controls. He has a special interest in machine learning. His bachelor's degree is in economics, with coursework in accounting and marketing.
Mr. Gattoni-Celli spent four years as a federal tax reporter for the news nonprofit Tax Analysts, with a stint on Capitol Hill. While covering the IRS, he specialized in information security issues. Mr. Gattoni-Celli broke stories that spurred changes to IRS policy and public disclosure of security risks including a previously undisclosed cyber attack.
