Matt Arnott helps Gartner clients make better decisions about their Internet of Things (IoT) strategy and tactics. Mr. Arnott is a member of Gartner's Quantitative Innovation research group. He focuses on IoT forecasting and has produced projections in consumer electronics, smart cities, connected cars, utilities and connected industry.
Prior to joining Gartner, he conducted analysis in the commodities industry, with a particular focus in the metals and mining sector.
Mr. Arnott was the point of contact for both the European steel industry and conflict mineral trading and regulation out of Africa into Europe, the Middle East and Asia. He helped lead purchase strategies and market involvement for product managers at some of the industry's largest companies.
