Michael Aldridge is a Sr. Director Analyst in Gartner Research, where he is part of the Security and Risk Management Programs group. His primary area of focus is business continuity management.
Prior to joining Gartner, Michael worked as the CIO and CISO across several industries. He also worked as a Sr. Security Consultant providing Risk Analysis to hospitals across the United States. Michael has thirty years of technology experience with approximately twenty years in healthcare, and ten years in public sector/local government.
As the CIO, I led the creation of a business-oriented IT organization linked to the City's strategic plan. I had responsibility for all technical operations, served on the executive team and served as Chair for the IT Governance Council.
