Pam Fitzpatrick is a Sr. Director, Analyst with Gartner's Supply Chain research group. Ms. Fitzpatrick's research coverage includes communication strategies and skills for supply chain leaders as well as corporate social responsibility (CSR), sustainability and circular economy strategies within supply chain. She tracks the impacts of ESG investing trends and social and environmental responsibility issues on supply chain management. Her research focuses on addressing these challenges through supply chain strategy, governance and performance measurement programs. She helps Gartner clients find more effective ways to communicate supply chain's vision, strategy and capabilities so they can secure funding and support for supply chain's mission-critical priorities. Her work also addresses change management capabilities, whether in support of sustainability initiatives or collaborative, cross-functional business process improvements such as S&OP or integrated business planning.
Ms. Fitzpatrick has more than 20 years of experience in strategic communications' counsel and project management. Before joining Gartner, she specialized in B2B marketing and internal communications, helping executives in the energy, manufacturing, financial services, engineering and healthcare industries achieve their goals for brand awareness, sales growth and employee engagement. Prior to her agency experience, she held editorial roles at a trade magazine, where she wrote research, case studies and regulatory updates, with coverage of state and federal agencies such as EPA, OSHA and U.S. DOT. She also has more than five years of experience in strategic planning and program management at nonprofit economic development agencies, where she led initiatives that united nonprofit, public-sector and private-sector interests to transform local and regional economies.
