Robert Mason is a Managing Vice President in the Gartner Research organization, where he leads the Storage team.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Mason led Gartner research on unified communications and network services, where his focus included enterprise video, wide-area networking and communications infrastructure.

Prior to joining Gartner in 2007, Mr. Mason was the enterprise network architect for E.I. DuPont. He has also held senior technology and product marketing roles at MCI, Motorola Broadband and V-SPAN. Mr. Mason has had significant experience in Multiprotocol Label Switching, voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), video telepresence and broadband architectures.
