Sanjit Ganguli is a Research Vice President with Gartner's IT Leaders Infrastructure and Operations research group. His primary focus is on network and application performance monitoring, AIOps and network automation. He is part of the IT Operations Management team and is based in the Washington, D.C. metro area.
Mr. Ganguli has held a variety of executive and technical roles in the network and application performance vendor space, at OPNET and Riverbed.
Mr. Ganguli was formerly the Deputy CTO at Riverbed Technology, working as part of the office of the CTO to provide strategic technical leadership and evangelization to guide corporate initiatives. This includes meeting with CXOs at the world's leading corporations and speaking at industry conferences to discuss Riverbed's Application Performance Platform. Prior to this role, he was the Vice President of International Applications Engineering for OPNET Technologies. There, he was responsible for managing the technical aspects of OPNET's global expansion, bringing application and network management solutions to customers around the world.
Mr. Ganguli has previously held positions at Hughes Network Systems as a Manager for VSAT satellite networking solutions and started his career as a Hardware/Software Engineer for Schlumberger Oilfield Services, designing control and telemetry systems for advanced nuclear logging devices.
