Saptarshi Routh leads Gartner Consulting's Digital Business and IT Strategy practice across EMEA. He's part of Gartner Consulting's Global Practice leadership.
Mr. Routh provides strategic advisory across issues faced by business leaders, CIOs, CDOs and their direct reports, across a wide range of commercial, industrial and public sector clients on digital business models, disruption and innovation, operating model, customer engagement and experience, ecosystems, platforms and digital architecture related opportunities and challenges.
Prior to Gartner, he worked with a global Big-4 advisory firm in their Performance Improvement Advisory practice. He also brings in a rich "hands-on" mix of experience working for a start-up and a large systems integrator earlier in his career.
Mr. Routh holds an M.B.A. degree specializing in strategy development and implementation from Said Business School, University of Oxford, and a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from Jadavpur University, India.
Prior to joining Gartner, Mr. Routh worked with PwC on its Performance Improvement Advisory practice in architecture, program and project management, IT strategy, and outsourcing assignments, successfully leading teams in a variety of multilocation and technically complex environments. Prior to PwC, he worked with a startup based in the Netherlands and an Indian outsourcing company, mostly in hands-on technical roles, including programming, solution designing, and architecting business applications.
