Sarah is a highly experienced UK-based legal operations and legal procurement leader. An IILPM qualified Legal Project Practitioner and Legal Process Improvement Professional. At Gartner, she focuses on advising General Counsel and Heads of Legal Operations.
Sarah worked as a lawyer for 13 years (law firm then in-house) before moving into legal procurement and contract management. Sarah joined Royal Mail's professional services procurement team before moving to work for the GC as Director of Legal Operations for 5 years. Her role included operational management of the legal team, process improvements, buying legal services and managing external providers.
She left to set up her own legal operations/procurement consulting business in 2018, advising various corporate legal teams on a range of projects including planning and executing legal panel reviews, implementing legal technology solutions and improving department performance - including organizational design and legal spend management.
She has published numerous articles and presented at various legal conferences/webinars over the years.
