Scott Bittler is a VP, Team Manager for Enterprise Leaders, responsible for leading a team of Leadership Partners engaged in high-value client relationships. He previously served as a Leadership Partner himself, engaging passionately in serving member clients as a trusted advisor, coach, mentor, educator, and seminar/workshop facilitator on enterprise architecture, strategy, innovation and transformation.
Mr. Bittler was formerly a vice president in Gartner Research for 15 and a half years. He is widely recognized as a leading authority on enterprise architecture, strategy and high-affinity topics. With more than 30 years of IT industry experience, a successful track record of accomplishment, and a tremendous body of best-practice client knowledge, he has very actively provided guidance to clients and published leading-edge research. Mr. Bittler has spoken frequently to groups around the world and served clients across all seven continents, including many of the Global 2000 largest companies and government clients at the federal, state/provincial and municipal levels.
In 1998, Mr. Bittler joined Meta Group (acquired by Gartner in April 2005) in the new Enterprise Planning & Architecture Strategies group, where he was instrumental in driving the rapid success of this unit and establishing it as the world leader in its field. Previously, Mr. Bittler held many engineering, engineering management and IT management positions at Corning. He was part of the management team that led the Telecommunications Products division to win the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award in 1995.
