Shalini Das is currently the MVP within the SWEL practice, managing a team of seven analysts focused on SWE Strategy and Practices research.
Until Sep 2022, she was Vice President, Team Manager in the Enterprise Architecture & Technology Innovation research group. She led the Peer & Practitioner team within EA&TI for four years. Her team of nine geographically dispersed researchers develops insights and research products that help solve critical strategic and management challenges of Chief Architects across the globe.
Prior to this role, Ms. Das was a Research Director for the CEB IT Leadership Council for Midsized Companies.
Ms. Das was responsible for developing program strategy, overseeing research development, and managing a geographically diverse team of researchers. In addition, she also was the Information Risk advisor on the team, helping IT security leaders overcome strategic and managerial challenges related to information risk management and cybersecurity.
Prior to joining CEB IT for Midsized, she managed the research product portfolio for CEB Infrastructure, a program that serves about 300 heads of Infrastructure at large enterprises around the globe. Ms. Das has also rotated across other large enterprise research programs such as the CEB Leadership Council for CIOs, and Applications.
She joined CEB in the India office in 2008, and transitioned to the Arlington office in 2012. She is currently based in Teaneck, NJ.
Ms. Das was an IT Project Manager at GE, responsible for managing application development projects, evaluating cloud-based vendors, and liaising with and managing third-party risk of preferred software development partners.
