Vidhya Balasubramanian is a Managing Vice President overseeing research for General Counsel, Chief Legal Officers, Compliance Officers, and other legal and compliance leaders. She leads research teams focused on the most pressing legal, compliance, and privacy challenges facing companies today. Key focus areas include board and governance issues, legal operations and department management, corporate compliance and ethics programs, privacy program management, and risk management processes.

With more than 16 years of experience, Ms. Balasubramanian has authored or led a variety of qualitative and quantitative research, conferences, or webinars on topics related to future trends affecting legal and compliance departments, legal strategy and effectiveness, third party risk management, and legal and compliance risk management.

Previous experience

Previously, Ms. Balasubramanian managed the legal and compliance membership product serving legal and compliance departments at midsized companies, overseeing research, advisory, and service delivery. She was responsible for the overall P&L as well as the strategy, roadmap, and vision for the research product portfolio. Prior roles have included general management, product management, advisory and business development support.
