Vivek Swaminathan is a Vice President of Peer and Practitioner Research for midsize enterprises at Gartner. Mr. Swaminathan's team supports a peer network of CIOs at midsize companies with tools, benchmarks and case studies designed to empower small IT teams to do big things. Prior to this role, he served in a number of research and advisory roles supporting IT teams within Gartner network. He began his Gartner career as a Research Associate, where he developed research for heads of PMO and Applications, focusing on project management and talent. In 2009, he transitioned to an executive advisory role for midsize companies. During his time at Gartner, he has led countless advisory conversations, tailored workshops and leadership briefings for CIOs and other senior IT executives.
Prior to Gartner, Mr. Swaminathan was a consultant with PeopleSoft's professional services group supporting HR and financials' ERP implementations.
