Xinwei Zhan is a Director Analyst within Technology and Service Providers organization based in Gartner's Beijing, China, office. Mr. Zhan delivers research and actionable advice to Product Managers at global Technology and Service Provider organizations as part of the Gartner for Product Teams practice. His research helps Product Managers successfully deliver competitive technology products to market. Mr. Zhan supports Product Managers to build strong partnerships and ecosystems, plan the product strategy and launch new products in countries/regions to achieve revenue growth in Cloud Infrastructure and Network industries. His expertise spans various technologies to include Application Delivery Controllers (ADC), and Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) in addition to other cloud infrastructure and enterprise networking technologies.
Prior to Gartner, Mr. Zhan had more than 13 years of experience in high-technology markets serving various Industries including Telecom and Retail. At F5, Mr. Zhan was product manager in the global product team to manage ADC Appliance products, he also managed the F5 OEM products for China Market, including identifying addressable market, product planning, product delivery, product lifecycle management, and local customized certifications. Before joining F5, Mr. Zhan worked in Akamai, he was in the product team involved in CDN product landing in China from a commercial and compliance perspective. He also managed the partnership with local partners and Cloud providers. Prior to joining Akamai, Mr. Zhan worked in Ericsson within several departments, including Product Engineering, Service delivery and Product Support in the North East Asia Region.
