Workplace Bullying

Workplace bullying is undesirable, repeated behavior that leads to a deterioration in working conditions and that is likely to harm the victim’s dignity, physical or psychological health, or professional career. Some examples of how workplace bullying manifests itself include:

  • Verbal abuse
  • Physical and nonverbal behaviors that are threatening, intimidating or humiliating
  • Work sabotage
  • Interference with production
  • Exploitation of a physical, social or psychological vulnerability
