    Insights from this month's labor market data

    With the impact of the resurgence of COVID-19, all functions in India saw monthly declines in job postings from March to April. The U.K., Singapore, Canada and France saw increases in job postings during this time. Canada exceeded the prepandemic level for the first time since 1Q20. 

    Top trends from this month's report

    • Job demand level in the U.S. was slightly above the prepandemic level by 1.2% in the last week of April.
    • Brazil showed the largest monthly decrease in job postings with a 27.5% decrease.
    • Singapore and Russia remained above prepandemic levels of job activity.
