Organizational culture is under more investor and public scrutiny than ever. Talent discussions during earnings calls jumped 7% in the first half of 2017. Today culture is the most discussed talent issue on these calls, with mentions growing 12% annually.
Given CEOs’ increasing focus on culture, companies are making substantial investments in culture management, spending an estimated $2,000+ per employee annually. But despite the rise in attention and investment, only three in 10 HR leaders are confident their company actually has the culture it needs to drive future business performance.
