Decked Out in Dunkin’

Die-hard Dunkin’ fans’ prayers have been answered in the form of holiday Dunkin’ merchandise. With products ranging from an electric guitar to holiday joggers, all of the brand’s new products come decked out with the classic Dunkin’ logo. The company’s “online pop-up shop” is letting fans show their love of Dunkin’ in various fashions with an extensive line of clothing and accessories. Dunkin’ is joining the likes of other food brands, such as Ranch and Oreo, with its holiday-only products—ensuring true fans can represent their favorite brands in a festive fashion. In addition to the Dunkin’ app, which easily lets customers earn rewards according to a Gartner L2 report on the topic, fans can visit stores for more holiday fun. In participating Dunkin stores, for example, shoppers can find Elf on the Shelf ornaments and peppermint munchkin-scented lip balm. 

The company has enlisted the help of a few “Dunkin’ Diehards” to promote the goods on social media. Singer Andy Grammar has posted pictures of himself with the Dunkin’ guitar while couple Ashely and Jared from “The Bachelor” franchise have posted numerous images on Instagram of themselves wearing the Dunkin’ joggers and onesie. Since the product drop on November 14th, many of the items have already sold out—but true fans need not despair, the brand will be bringing back the pop-up shop in 2020. 

Dunkin’s festive goods are the gifts coffee lovers didn’t know they needed this season. In addition to the company’s new holiday drink menu, Dunkin’ has given shoppers a new way to attest their love of the brand. Other brands wondering whether to extend product offerings for the holidays could look to Dunkin’ on how to do so profitably.
