Reese’s is pairing up with a host of celebrities to make Halloween just a little bit sweeter. Partnering with Facebook Live and Instagram, the beloved chocolate candy company is letting fans help create an interactive haunted house for Halloween. 

Reese’s is utilizing social media to garner interest just in time for one of the biggest candy occasions in the United States. In collaboration with 32 selected guests, starting off with actor Neil Patrick Harris, fans can go on his page and vote on what to include in the ultimate haunted house. Dubbed the “It’s a LIVE” virtual haunted house, Reese’s fearsome foray follows the rising trend of food brands using social media videos to deliver visually appealing content, according to a Gartner L2 report on the topic. 

Currently, Reese’s is the second most popular Halloween candy in the country, and the most requested chocolate treat for trick-or-treating. Utilizing this popularity to get more people excited for Halloween and viewing Reeses’ social media channels adds another layer of fun to an already enticing experience.
