Hotels should fear Google the way the retail world has come to fear Amazon.
We conducted searches for 30 popular US and international destinations, then created an interactive map showing the luxury brands that boast the strongest visibility in each city.
The result? Lower-priced hotels often capture large swaths of real estate on online travel agency sites (OTAs). However, on Google Hotels, luxury brands have a fighting chance.
