    The Gartner Healthcare Supply Chain Top 25 ranks the 25 leading supply chains among U.S. health systems.

    The methodology for the 2022 ranking is 60% community opinion and 40% quantitative data.

    Community opinion comes from two independent panels — a peer panel and a Gartner analyst panel.

    Supply chain leaders and academia are eligible to be on the peer panel. Gartner balances peer voters across geographies, companies and functions. Excluded from the peer panel are technology vendors and public relations, marketing and finance professionals.

    All panelists consider specific capabilities that improve human life at sustainable costs. Read more about the capabilities model here. Additionally, analysts review any Supply Chain Research Information Packets (SCRIPs) submitted by eligible health systems. SCRIPs are optional and kept confidential and provide detail on a health system’s supply chain initiatives. Contact us for more information about SCRIPs.

    Quantitative data comprises Quality of Patient Care, Bond Rating and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG).

    Gartner balances the peer voters across geographies, companies and functions, and reserves the right to accept or reject any offer to be a peer voter.
