The Gartner Supply Chain Top 25: 2020 and Beyond

The methodology that Gartner uses to determine the Gartner Supply Chain Top 25 has been closely scrutinized over the years. Gartner takes the feedback seriously, and continually investigates ways to improve the ranking, while balancing the need for change with consistency. This year’s methodology changes included quantitative exercises, such as running potential changes against datasets from previous years. We also solicited qualitative feedback from a cross-section of the supply chain community, including more than 100 companies and a formal feedback session with the Gartner Supply Chain Executive Advisory Board, which is composed of global chief supply chain officers from several leading companies.
