I didn't see or read the comment to really understand the context. But, if the idea is to provide Identity As A Service, or an Identity ecosystem that others can plug into, it's interesting. Privacy and security are going to be the concern. Clear is building an interesting ecosystem around their identity service. We have primary "login providers" in Google and Facebook (and Apple joined the club recently) where applications don't have to build that functionality from scratch. So, we have a few examples that could be precursors to what McKinnon might be envisioning?Content you might like
