I'm interested to hear more from those who answered "reduce IT costs" as to what costs they believe are reduced by going cloud. There's plenty of case studies which suggest that costs change but don't reduce in a cloud migration.

In my experience the only way to show “savings” with cloud is to ensure you compare apples to oranges measured by bananas. Our server cloud migration showed savings because we did aggressive application rationalization and server reductions. We only use DaaS for contractors and outsourced service providers that need in-house access

Its a must as Microsoft don’t backup the office 365. Yes, you have 30 days retention or depending if its Sharepoint/one drive can go to 90 days there is nothing long term and there is no guarantee that the data can be restored. ...read more
