What scares me, car manufactures can now decide your 8 year old car is obsolete. Think of the elderly that buy a car for A to B. My parents put about 10k a year on their car and rigorously follow maintenance. So could their 7 year old car with 73k miles get obsoleted by the manufacturer like a two year old smartphone?
