Would have said Warren Buffet. But I would say he is the best investor...

CIO / Managing Partner in Manufacturing, 2 - 10 employees
Elon Musk
James Dyson

Director of Technology Strategy in Services (non-Government), 2 - 10 employees
Joseph Jacquard - the great grandaddy of digital transformation.

And much, much closer to home, Peter Beck.
CEO in Software, 11 - 50 employees
A pair - Bill Hewlett and Dave Packard

These two built a giant that helped launch modern technology and certainly put the Bay Area on the map for technology. Also, their company actually made things. Things that improved lives, built other businesses and saved lives.

Their lessons in leadership still reverberate throughout the halls of enterprise. Some of the simple ideas like "Management by Walking Around"  (MBWA) and Open Door to leadership/management are among the tools, and processes I still use.

Their company spawned hundreds of other firms and made Custodians and Executives alike rich.

I will always appreciate the time I spent at HP, especially during the years when Bill and Dave would still occasionally wander the halls.

Without a doubt - Technical Debt! It's a ball and chain that creates an ever increasing drag on any organization, stifles innovation, and prevents transformation.
