Has anyone gone through the process of moving their company from a traditional on-prem directory management solution like MS AD to an Identity Management platform? or gone all the way to be Domainless?  Would love to hear your experiences and do's and do not's.

Not yet. Here are the main pros and cons we came across when we looked at vendors:

1. Scalability for growth.
2. Centralized access control and improved security, including integrated MFA.
3. Better SSO capabilities over ADFS
4. Better integration with some cloud-based services.

1. Very complex migration to a new platform, requiring training.
2. Dependency or lock-in on cloud infrastructure.
3. Likely higher costs as most are subscription-based.
4. Integration challenges with legacy systems and applications.
