given your past activity, I thought this question on RPA might be of interest to you. Would love to know your thoughts!

I think we will see collaborative robotics feeding information back to each other on system state and things. A complex example might be automated vehicles delivering data on traffic conditions so others can adapt. However, another example could simply be a robot arm on a factory floor indicating a failure and effectively shutting down the pipeline until the blockage is cleared. Or perhaps robots might advise production has slowed, or increased, and thus other robots come online or offline or increase their pace accordingly.

Ultimately, the point being robots will "talk" to each other to inform about changed or changing conditions and the other robots will adjust their plans and processes to suit.

We are using RPA solutions for automation of our Supply Chain processes. We have built REST APIs for our distributed fleet software systems and we integrate with ERP via RPA solutions.
