Are you implementing incentives or penalties for employees to encourage in office presence? If so, what are you doing?

No - We have hired many remote employees in recent years. Implementing rewards or penalties to attend in office would probably cause unnecessary disdain. Lead Consultant in Software, 201 - 500 employees
Our office is trying to push employees to come to office ( apart from those who are hired as fully remote employees ) at east 2 days a week. Management is not talking about any incentive or penalties as of now, but incentives for coming to office is a possibility in the futureHR Manager, Self-employed
Companies would do better to ask themselves what it is they are "missing" by the proximate attendance of people "in the office" or "on site"? To me, proximity has little to do with connection, and I have noticed a lack of connection for those who worked through the pandemic on site, as those who didn't. To me, it's about recreating a reason to come in and connect meaningfully and purposefully, not just being present or not present - connection strategies for those in hybrid, remote or on site. There are no penalties as such but there are multiple incentives in every quarter if the performance is beyond expectations or even meets expectations extraordinarily we get a champion title and coupon of 2-3k based on the titles. Some might even get more than one appreciation title.Infrastructure Manager in Education, 5,001 - 10,000 employees
My organization's philosophy is remote by default and in-office when necessary. We have quarterly planning meetings and a few team building/celebration events requiring in-office presence. We've been incentivizing folks to attend by providing breakfast and lunch.Product Management Analyst in Banking, 10,001+ employees
Our Org is ‘encouraging’ colleagues to come in to office - with highlighting collaboration and ideation benefits of in person attendance, and also adding to office premise culture (Food, Events and Appreciations) I do believe it has made me more look forward to come to office regularly, with really solid infra and opportunities in office.
