We've got to go address the labor shortage problem. That's not going away, and the only way in which we can get close to solving that labor issue is by first doing a better job of reducing vulnerabilities and making better risk decisions. That will take a cut of it. Then the other part will be making it easier for the risk decision-makers—making it easier for the System and Organization Controls (SOC) to not have to add 25 people because the machine can carry the weight.Content you might like

I think you're right. This goes back to every aspect of automation: if it's not delivering an outcome and a result then it's wasted automation.
