All gifts with a value of more than $25 are handed into HR who then raffle them off to the staff during the company’s social events.

Most firms have policies around gifts. Generally there’s no issue if the gift is ‘incidental’. Generally that would be about $50 or so. If it is around holiday time, then should not be an issue most of the time. If you are in the middle of an RFP and they send it, should certainly be returned to them.

Corp has guidelines on acceptable gifts, limits and other considerations.. Always follow them, when in doubt politely decline or look up intranet for policy documents or check with corp team

Follow my companies guidelines for accepting gifts. Thankfully I’m rarely ever in a situation that requires me to reference the policy.

As a non-profit foundation we depend on donations. It doesn't matter whether they come from individuals, agreements, or are even unsolicited. However, as a philanthropic impact investor, we also forward these benefits whenever possible.

It all depends on the item being given and who is giving it. Sometimes its better to keep it, and other times it's better to donate it to someone else.

Gifts are shared around the company - baskets of foodstuffs go in the kitchen, other gifts generally go to the person who would use it the most weighted by who has received the most past gifts.
