Implementation of Appian BPM product within our company was successful due to a thorough planning and staged rollout approach. Internal project management and business analysis teams have closely worked with internal departments to define business process migration plan and detailed requirements. Technical implementation was performed by the internal technical team with independent consultant facilitating the architecture decisions.

Great product but before implementation, it is best to come up with an effective rollout and user adoption strategy. This is generally true for any solution implementation.

The overall experience in working with Appian has been satisfactory. Account Management has been very strong and supportive. They look for ways to insure the product is a good fit and will provide value. They are willing to work with the customer on licensing to insure your committment makes financial sense. Appian's professional services were excellent. While expensive, they are committed to assisting the customer in delivering a well thought out application. They only drawback I saw with engaging professional services is given the expense and time constraints the knowledge transfer to our internal staff was limited. What I have also found is that their 3rd party vendors that provide development services and staff augmentation have been excellent. We have been engaged with one of these vendors for several years. The level of service and most importantly their focus on insuring our internal staff are up to speed has been superior. Overall, again, we have been very satisfied with the Appian product.

Appian service was good, 3rd party vendors rather expensive.

Appian has been a great partner overall - bot the product and their services are excellent. The only issue is that their licensing model is not realistic for very large organizations.

Strong engaged management team. Challenges at first but Appian overcame them.

Strong technical support and expertise. training is longer and more complex to build competancy than Appian markets.
