ThreatMetrix provides good data for our needs -- primarily login and payment risk scores and device fingerprinting. Their rules engine is straightforward and intuitive. Their technical account management has helped imrpove our rule sets to achieve desired results.
Constantly re-evaluate your rules. Over time, their effectiveness will fade as fraud trends evolve. This is not a set-and-forget solution.

The implementation is easy and the vendor is very responsive to any issues or questions.
Confirm SLAs with the vendor. Also, check on the stability of the product. Have a backup mechanism if profiling from threat Metrix is missing.
It does what it claims to do and does it well. It doesn't add any additional friction into our product - e.g. no performance impacts on our page loads. Device fingerprinting is reasonably reliable. Rules are easy to create and update.
everything works as expected. Portal could use some enhancements. organizational hierarchy is missing.
Portal needs some additional work and more capabilities to address clients needs.
We were satisfied with integration.

Get out into the market and share the cyber data.
Have a Technology business owner in house to support the end user.

It was fast and we received all the answers to the questions we had and assistance needed.
Don't go with new players just because they promise they can deliver. They often over promise and underdeliver. These guys actually delievered.
Faster to implement promised new changes. But the current functionality was what we were after.

Threatmetrix provides a strong product which generally meets our limited needs very well, and they're willing to grow their product when and where necessary to keep us happy.
As you integrate and build out rules for your organization, ensure that you do so in a well-informed way with thoughts around how you'll handle future challenges in your business.
The ease of configuration changes is excellent.
We likely would've spent more time building out a more comprehensive ruleset within the Threatmetrix product, and would have done so with a more logical structure - once the product is running, the incentive to go back and rebuild the rule structure is just not there for us even though we occasionally identify some unnecessary complexity (again, self-inflicted from the beginning).

The team at ThreatMetrix made the implementtion of the product with us fast and simple - they were able to quick help troubleshoot with us in real-time and got us up and running driving immediate benefit to the business
Do not turn on auto-reject before seeing what the impact is to your customers.

The way the policy builder appears visually can make it confusing to see which rules are being used at which stage of the hierarchy.
Moving away from a flash based portal management system - which they have now done!
More training to fully understand the power and depth of data available
Quick turnaround of questions, regular sessions to highlight new developments, customer summits. Excellent.
