Operational Technology Security Reviews

Gartner defines operational technology (OT) as "hardware and software that detects or causes a change through the direct monitoring and/or control of physical devices, processes and events in the enterprise." Examples of OT include supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems, process control networks (PCNs), distributed control systems, and other operational environments using devices, such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs). The OT security solutions monitor, measure and protect OT by identifying, sensing and/or controlling changes of state in physical infrastructures or in the OT system itself.
