EMC XtremIO

Implementation and setup of XIO

Product does work as designed. There was confusion over who had to install this, first, we were working with a VAR, then Dell/EMC pulled it back and would not let the VAR implement this, and Dell/EMC had to install at our site. Once this got sorted out, the installation and configuration went smoothly.

EMC - Great System

Works fairly well. Only issue we've had is a couple of drives that failed. I would not blame the vendor for this, as that kind of thing happens from time to time. It was easy to replace the bad drives.

EMC XtremIO

Implementation was long, but in the end a good solution

Implementation had its struggles as the technology wasn't specialized for our enviroment so we had to make some modifications to adapt. Overall we were able to get it up and running, it just took a couple extra months.
