Very responsive account team, when issues did crop up they were dealt with effectively and extremely efficiently.
The IPM solution does some great things out-of-the-box, focus on those and build some quick wins.
Simple self-service aspect to building dashboards
Nothing in particular
There is no Enterprise agent deployment method. Agents for SaaS and on-prem are deployed manually, this is a step backwards from the ITM solution which offered and remote / automated deployment methodology.
IBM Support is simply amazing. They have quickly and effeciently responded to any and every support issue and brought them to resolution quickly.

IBM provides us with a single point of integration across our entire enterprise. It has proven to us to be the most mature portfolio of APM tools and our services agreement provides us with a "peace-of-mind" that we don't get from any other vendor. They respond to our requests and incidents with the utmost professionalism and speed.
It's a journey. You need to stay the course. The biggest mistake you can make is to take your eye off the road......when you start looking for exits!
Fast responses, to incidents as well as understanding our requirements and enhancement requests.
The vendor was great and continues to provide us with exceptional service and products.
We wouldn't do much different. We understood from the conception phases of our project that it was going to take time to reach the maturity level that we wanted to get to.
The support people (both L2 and L3) always respond in a very timely fashion and are very knowledgeable.

The reason we choose this APM monitoring are below. 1) Cloud based so no prime maintenance required 2) continuous availability 3) ESB application transaction tracking 4) Comparative less coast 5) Easy implementation

The product has massive monitoring coverage for technologies however, lacks 'monitoring native mobile apps and devices' in APM. Cloud Hosted APM lacks enterprise customization but works great. Service and support have been really great. Having local IBM Perth Dev Lab have helped. Support is always on their toes. Product Management listens and is open for communication at week's notice. The roadmap is enhanced and our requirements are being catered for as a priority. Overall - good experience with the vendor - support & management plus product.
Read the manuals carefully and assess which component integrations are required prior to configuring. It is a pain to go back and disable a few things to enable integration and then enable those few things again! Make sure the product coverage fits what you need. We have 95% covered today and working with IBM on the rest. Convey your plans to IBM before implementation. Licensing consumption count is not easy to maintain. Ensure IBM gives a way to you before you implement this... We built our own!
- Service & Support Teams are very helpful (once you escalate to Level 2 and.or above.) - Product is great at what it does and has massive coverage for technologies.
- no easy way of migrating thresholds/etc from IBM Tivoli Monitoring to APM. - no way of counting license consumption easily inside APM. - service teams ask for far too many logs and one by one! Wish they asked them all in one go and wasted less time.
- Provided a way of keeping a count of license consumption inside APM. - Release the patches quicker. - Release a 'real, simple to use' custom plugin builder so customers can monitor things that IBM do not support. - Make licensing easier and simpler - get rid of the 100 names the product has and can be licensed under. - Stop the support teams asking for more and more logs each time there is an issue... Escalate quickly.
Have a proper project manager, committed teams (network security mainly) to deliver this internally. Cloud APM Solution was quite nicely delivered by IBM, however, lacks some customization.
100% satisfied. Support is on their toes and having access to local development labs speed up the process.

Product Management & Development teams are fully focused, committed and provide quick results. IBM's coverage for technologies is by far the best with constant enhancement of roadmap. Local Support in Australia is great (IBM Perth Labs Development - APM team). Pre-Sales/Account Team are fantastic, result oriented. We have been a traditional IBM Tivoli Monitoring install base. Journey to APM was fully discussed with Vendor and vendor roadmap, support and focus on the development of APM has been great. The Product Management team is quite committed, open to listening, collaborating and working on our needs. Implementation experience has been really good with local support team available within hours.
- Read the manual properly, ensure all integration components are thought off and implemented in order. Going backwards/forwards requires disabling a few things. - Ensure firewalls for a lot of "agent" ports are opened; if agents are monitoring remotely (eg. Citrix vdi agent). - Communicate with users to ensure cultural change is well accepted if you are on a different APM solution or a tradition IBM tivoli monitoring -like - environment. - Look for local support. Having local support at arm's length has been fantastic.
Service - IBM Perth Labs (Local Development Lab) , Pre Sales & Account team have been fantastic and committed. The product has coverage for a lot of technologies. The roadmap is quite comprehensive and vendor delivers upon it in line with strategy. The product still requires a few enhancements but the development/management teams are quite committed to delivering upon these.
Product - Not having an easy to use interface to build monitoring plugins. Not having agent-less monitoring options. IBM needs to do better to provide agent upgrades, deployment options using IBM Endpoint Manager.
Provided a platform to collaborate with other customers who are implementing the same or in the process to implement the same.
Read the documentation properly and implementation steps would be altered a bit to ensure we are not going too backwards and forwards. Work with the vendor to ensure all monitoring agent pre-requisites are updated and provided before starting. Internally, we did not communicate to users as greatly as we would have liked. So perhaps, communicating about the upcoming implementation of APM would be great. We always had plans to implement a Hybrid Solution and would do nothing different in terms of what we want to implement.
Support team - locally and internationally are quite hands on. Always ready to help. IBM Perth Labs - APM development manager is fully committed and helpful at short notice. IBM Development in US, Brazil, etc. are also available within a day. Service has been fantastic, Support has been great with timely fixes/assistance/workarounds.

This is very good tool with monitoring capabilities.
We like the APM UI.
Lack of workspaces for MQ and data power.
Some support members were not aware of this product.
