Implementation took much longer and cost much more than expected. Product upgrade was forced by vendor but when we started implementation, they could not provide knowledgeable support and many gaps were found in product readiness. Required a reset of the project, a significantly increased budget, delayed implementation, and a commitment to get more knowledgeable resources from the vendor. The new resources were much better and helped get the project back on track.
