Flexible, functional content management and OCR product with a very service-oriented team
Architecture, particularly remote access needed some tweaking

Good vendor support with integration and overlap deployments.
Conduct the POC to ensure the product features match the busines requirement
Easy to use and good responsive tech support
Provide more insight on existing customer usage of the large data volumes.

In general the cost of using OnBase has been worthwhile.
Consider as much out of the box functionality as possible to reduce risk.
Requires training to administrate.
The licensing model makes the system a bit expensive.
Integrate in a way where upgrading is less risky.
Initial deployment was good. We are working on a new deployment which will modernize the system.

The OnBase team is visionary and worked with us to implement functionality that would be considered leading edge. We were able to fully discuss our vision and see it come to life using the technology.
Fully understand your business units and work with them to think outside the box. Implementing just as an ECM while excellent, doesn't deliver the power to your organization.
Phenomnal tool for any business implementing workflow and more.
AppEnabler makes this a non issue.
