Ability to negotiate contract and modify implementations to suit client needs

Implementation has gone well to date. Vendor has provided strong technical support to drive implementation. Platform is fairly easy to understand and manipulate.

The product was easy to implement and seamlessly integrated into our environment. The cloud SaaS works well and provides a great user experience.

Pros: Ability to manage significant data loads (volume and complexity); "Excel" like interface, Apptio's absolute commitment to our success. User groups and conferences are top-notch. Standard taxonomy is extremely valuable. Cons: In-house skill level needed was a little higher than expected, IT Planning is a nice tool but does not support rate development without significant non-standard builds.

The product serves a niche purpose of empowering executive decision makers. The key differentiator is the pre-built model ATUM to correlate enterprise data into executive facing categories. Key areas of improvement include better visualization capabilities, more GUI based modeling and robust integration capabilities and faster processing.

Good technical support. Some changing staff due to a growth of vendor operations which could be a distraction. Some add-on selling during implementation which could also be a distraction. The vendor does have ambitious sales goals.

Implementation process was very efficient and effective. Vender has done this before and it showed

Whilst Appio have niche immature offering, it offered business value and insight from day 1.
