    You don't need to pay millions to use BI effectively.

    Overall Comment

    Dundas BI is an end to end solution. It got ETL, reporting and dash boarding capability on one platform. It can manage all ETL procedure own his own. It is not only reducing the budget of project, but also it is easy to collect data from different sources.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    Their costumer services and technical supports are great. First of all, they have free learning lessons on YouTube. And also they have huge community including many experts. They are always very helpful.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    Dundas BI is quite easy to implement. You can collect many data from different sources easily on Dundas BI and create your own cubes. Interfaces are user-friendly, that make it easier to creating own reports for end user.

    They have greatest support team I've ever seen. When ever you need them, they are always there.

    Integration & Deployment - Overall comment

    It was quite easy. It take maximum 45 minutes to install the product, configure the product and start to work with your own data.

    Quick and easy to use, high quality finished product!

    Overall Comment

    The Dundas BI software was very easy to install and get setup on our systems. Once operational the creation of dashboards was quick, easy, with high quality output. Being able to draw data from numerous data types (including drag and drop support for Excel files) makes data discovery and connection of data across sources an enjoyable experience rather than an aggravating hassle. Reporting of results based on fiscal years and time offsets (one month ago, one year ago) are so quick to set up that we now have time to start working on more useful data reporting and analytics.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Reach out to the Dundas support team! They provide top rated support and guidance. They have numerous informative and useful webinars available as well as quick e-mail and phone support options.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    The ability to quickly combine data from numerous different data sources (SAP, SQL Server, Oracle, Excel, etc.) into single data cubes makes reporting on numerous programs together quick and easy without unnecessday data export steps.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    The documentation surrounding the scripting capabilities are not up to the same standard as their documentation for scripting in the Dundas Dashboard tool. They are relying on Java Script documentation standards too much without providing as many useful examples.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    It is the small things that trip us up sometimes. For us the fact that Fiscal Years are written using single year notation can be quite confusing for our users. Our users are used to the FY 2015-2106 format whereas in Dundas BI we can only use FY 2015 or FY 2016 to represent that same time period.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    If we could start over we would have designed our dashboards and tools with mobile users in mind. The Dundas BI system makes it easy to develop for mobile devices and we should have tapped into those capabilities from the start.

    Quick easy development and release of dashboards and reports drawing on data from numerous sources makes this a fabulous product; from the end user and developers perspective.

    Service & support - overall comment

    The Dundas support team is the most responsive tech support team I have ever dealt with. They respond quickly with useful answers and are willing to get on the phone or web-meeting to help us figure out our issues.

    Integration & Deployment - Overall comment

    The installation and deployment of Dundas BI was quite easy and quick. In less than a day we had the software installed and our first dashboard up and running.

    Great customer support and a great product that produces beautiful data visualizations right out of the box.

    Get Dundas BI

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    Source control and the ability to roll back or roll forward with your work.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    That this wasn't available sooner.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    I wish they had a forum on their support site but they do have something interesting in the works.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    I wouldn't try exporting my Dundas Dashboard work into BI, I would just start with native BI.

    DUNDAS BI Transforming Hospital Data into Action.

    Dundas BI is a highly innovative product with a lot of features that are easy to use and easy to maintain. This has been an incredible advance for us. Overall the experience was quite positive and we even selected Dundas for a second, separate, stand-alone portal we built and host for health integration networks.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Don't skimp on the training -it's extremely valuable.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    Innovation in visualizations, ease of use and flexibility in terms of customization.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    Some web components that are buggy, but typically fixed when raised.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    Offer Jump Start templates to help us get started.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    More upfront training and consultation.

    Data visualization tool that has a fantastic support team!

    Overall, Dundas has been a great tool that easily displayed useful data. The data is easy to access. There are many minor things as in the terminology that could be difficult for some to understand but with the great support team that Dundas has, any issue that has arisen has been solved within 48 hours. This tool has so far been an amazing data visualization tool.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Use the Dundas support if you have any issues, they are great help!

    The support team!

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    Terminology based on the functionality of some things.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    Terminology could be a little bit more clear but other than that a fantastic product!

    I have been working in BI for long time and before I discovered Dundas BI, analyzing and exploring data was quite a challenge. With great flexibility, ease of use, a lot of data connectors, helped me reducing time to market in various projects. Great tool.

    Easy to install. Easier to deploy.

    The whole process was seamless. From purchase, to installation, to continued support. Dundas has fantastic support technicians who are always willing to help when questions arise.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Jump right in and have fun. The whole process is very intuitive and making charts and dashboards can be accomplished relatively quickly.

    Ease of use. Time to market for new dashboards. Integrates easily with many different data sources

    Cannot think of any dislikes.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    Vendor was great. Nothing I would change.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    Come up with more stringent guidelines for our internal dashboard development. Just avoid different look and feel for each dashboard created.

    Dundas BI - A modern platform from a great vendor

    As a vendor, Dundas has been wonderful to work with. The Dundas BI platform is a comprehensive BI end-to-end solution including an internal OLAP layer, dashboard, report, and scorecard tool. The Dundas BI HTML5 based platform offers an extensive JavaScript API for integration and customization.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Take the time to fully evaluate the product extensibility. The JavaScript API is insanely powerful! If there's something you can't do natively in the product there's a good chance you can easily add the desired functionality.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    Scalable and web standards based architecture.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    Dundas BI is still maturing as a product. Therefore, there's still a lack of example-based documentation available online. This isn't really a product issue, but it's the biggest issue I have at the moment (and it's really not a big deal).

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    Dundas is lacking a user community. Having the ability to interact with other users and share tips/tricks is invaluable. Dundas has recently taken steps to improve in this area but should continue to do so.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    We experienced some approval challenges (internally) being able to move forward with the Dundas BI purchase. If starting over I would have found ways around those internal roadblocks in order to adopt the platform sooner.

    Great product and customer support. The Dundas BI allow use to integrate the dashboard with our other business systems smoothly and power user licenes mode is great fit for our self-services strategic direction.
