    Excellent Business Intelligence Dashboard Solution

    Overall, the implementation of Sisense has been very smoot and successful. One of the things I liked best about Sisense was its ease of use out of the box and its ability to evolve into a more advanced business analytics tool with continued use. Plugins, custom javascript, upgrades and new features help ensure continued longterm improvement to the analytics that can be done with the tool. I am also pleased with the ability to send regular email reports, downloard dashboards as PDFs and quickly push changes to our users. WHile there are competitors to Sisense outr there with some flashy, beautiful charts and widgets, what Sisense does so well is allow to display the end user's key metrics or KPI's in pivot tables supported by visual graphs, charts or indicators. One of Sisense's strongestures aspects is how simply it blends with different data sets. We currently have several SQL databases, Excel files, and Mailgun email data integrated into our dashboard reporting. Using Sisense, we have managed to provide our clients a single easy to use BI portal to access all their data rather than having to go into multiple data systems.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    It will be very helpful to know your data and database schema prior to implementing Sisense. You can waste a lot of time during the "on boarding" process if you are busy hunting for data fields on tables or views rather than creating elasticubes, dashboards and learning the product.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    Very easy implementation with great support during implementation process. Sisense provided very helpful and supportive account managers and their support request system is top notch ... very responsive and helpful. There is also a wealth of information available in the user community that grows constantly.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    There are a few minor issues and things I wish I could do, however Sisense is constantly making imporvements and upgrades to their product so I suspect many of them will disappear.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    Be a little more clear about the "on boarding" process and understanding the different levels new customers can come in at. Twenty minutes after completing the installation I was creating client dashboards and therefore was reluctant to go backand "define an audience," and map fields to tables on paper.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    Nothing really comes to mind.

    Know what you want to achieve and have clear aims. It can do so much it is so easy to be diverted from those goals without a clear plan.

    Flexibility of product and staff willingness to ensure we understand the product and make the best use of it

    Some widget formatting is not as intuitive as it could be

    SiSense cares about more than just you - they also care about your customers

    SiSense has always gone the extra mile to ensure that the customer/end-user is satisfied. SiSense is not just concerned with their partner that provides their tool to customers, but they are also concerned with the customer experience that is extended through the partnership. This is vital. To get a vendor to care as much about our customers as they do about our company as their customer is extraordinary. Rare today.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Make sure that when you compare products, you do not compare only the nuts and bolts. There is more to a solution/service than just the capabilities. When things go wrong, and they will, will that vendor be there for you? Are you a small fish in a big pond?

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    Ease of use. I have, at times, found myself restricted in terms of what I am able to produce/complete. I mean that in the sense that I have wanted to do more complicated work, but SiSense simplifies it. I overlooked this because I was expecting the platform to operate as some other vendors' platforms do (tableau, etc). The simplification is vital because it allows me to manage less experienced resources at my direction to do work that they would not know they are capable of.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    To be honest - nothing. I would like to have a built in alerting system for when builds fail - however, we implemented a custom script on the server to do this for us - no complaints.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    More engaging with promoting their road map for changes.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    Nothing - maybe have bought SiSense earlier, however, that's on us. SiSense has overdelivered in terms of cooperation and understanding our business.

    Easy to use, robust BI tool.

    Sisense is a robust BI tool that has allowed us to connect to multiple data sources quickly and easily. Dashboard design is fast and promotes user engagement. We have been very satisfied with this end to end BI product.

    There will be no regrets using Sisense

    -The ability to connect to mulitple data sources easily -The speed of dashboard design -User security -Metric visuals

    No major dislikes at the moment.

    Better elasticube functionality and labeling. Ability to highlight mulitple tables in eCube to drag and drop in new areas.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    Centralize a dashboard deisgn protocol rather than having an open channel for high volume of ad hock dashboard designs.

    Amazing product, great team to work with, highly recommend!!!

    Sisense made the entire transaction an enjoyable one! Their sales team was extremely accomodating and patient as we requested several demonstrations and extensions to our trial license. They even attended a meeting with our internal stakeholders to answer any questions that might arise. Transition from Sales to Onboarding was seamless with no gap in productivity. We were even able to use the dashboards created during the decision process for immediate use in our production environment. Our onboarding specialist was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. The product sells itself with its flexibility, ease of use, and user interface! It takes the requirement of having dedicated IT staff and puts the ability to analyze data in the hands of the user who knows the data best! We are excited to finish developing our dashboards and roll them out to the project managers in our company!

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    It is extremely helpful to know your data. Too much time can be spent trying to find tables and fields which will take away time from the onboarding process for building useful dashboards and learning the product.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    My favorite thing about the product is the ability to create an elasticube by using drag & drop joins. It's so nice to not have to know how to use code to make that work. Updates to the cube are easy to make so you are not stuck with a cube that doesn't include everything you need. Once the elasticube is built, your possibilites are endless for creating dashboards.

    Sisense is an excellent choice for ease of use with tremendous power

    Overall the experience with Sisense have been very positive. The sales cycle was the smoothest and best I experienced, with lots of attention to make sure I was satisfied with the product, to the point of allowing me to demo it with my own data before choosing. There were some hiccups as we experienced some growing pains with our cloud server resources and architecture but eventually got them solved. Designing dashboards and modeling data in Sisense was a challenge only due to the complexity of our ERP dataset (NetSuite). However, whenever I experienced and issue that I needed help with, Sisense support was there to help. The improvements being made to the product come fast and frequently, and I know that their roadmap for the next ~1 year already contains improvements to any features I feel are lacking.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    When evaluating BI tools with the first time, make sure you really put them through the paces. Don't skimp anywhere, and test with your own data if possible.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    The fast ability for me to mock up ideas / answer questions using the dashboard widgets really allows our business to move forward quickly on problems.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    I wish the ElastiCube Manager piece were in the browser, instead of a stand-alone application, but that is already on their roadmap to change.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    Every wish I have is already on the roadmap to be solved soon.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    I have learned a lot about how best to structure our data into smaller ElastiCubes and make dashboards with fewer widgets. Design carries a lot of importance, as does specifically tailoring data to the task at hand.

    Intuitive, good lucking, performant, user AND developer friendly.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Don't need to have a BI expert to develop dashboard with this tool. Basic SQL and transactional database knowledges are sufficient to do the job !

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    First performance, it's incredibly fast. Embedded analytics and computational analytics are great features to develop to keep your project as dynamic as It was at the beginning. Finally, Supports and success management teams are really helpful, very available and full of tips ! Great people to work with and very efficient.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    Mobile version but a new release is coming in few months, looking forward to using it !

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    We won't lose time building use cases on other BI tools...

    Sisense has fundamentally changed how our services organization executes on a daily basis. The Sisense dashboards we implemented help the team focus on the right priorities on a daily basis. Team members instantly see how they are tracking to their goals and can course correct imediately when needed. We deliver the same high level information to our employees taking customer calls as we do to our board, creating an alignment that was previously absent. Since the services team has deployed the application, several other teams in our organization have requested licenses and are beginning to build out dashboards of their own. Most importantly, our client satisfaction rate has been steadily increasing six months running since the launch of the dashboards.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Ask for proof of concept period when signing the deal. This helped us prove out the connection to our data sources prior to getting too far down the path in implementations.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    Dashboarding layer is very straightforward to use and has good visual appeal. Connecting to multiple data sources is fairly easy to do and there are a good amount of connectivity options.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    The application does automatic data backups that result in consumption of large amounts of RAM on the server. When the RAM is full, auto data pulls from other applications fail to execute.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    Would like some more theoretical training during implementation to better understand the structure of the application and backend processes. Training was mainly focused on getting needed dashboards up and running which helped time to go live. The challenge is filling in the knowledge gaps after implementation to execute more robust use cases.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    Consider cloud based deployment. Server maintenance has proved to be a challenge for us in a small organization with limited IT staff and one person functioning as the Sisense system admin with a business rather than IT background.
