    Product is easy to use, but could stand to mature a little in the OEM space.

    Overall Comment

    Product was chosen for its simplicity, with the understanding that we may lack some of the flexibility that some other products offered. We have only recently rolled out to production in a limited sense. Some of the integration features are relatively new and lack the maturity of some other products, but overall we are happy with the solution.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    If a white label integration is desired, take a close look at integration documentation. Seek assistance from SiSense or outside vendors on an implementation plan.

    Ease of use

    Lack of "polish" in the integration features.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    Provide us with a project implementation plan.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    Seek outside assistance with implementation. We didn't know what we didn't know, leading to some wrong assumptions or "gotchas"

    Excellent product - exactly what we needed.

    Sisense has been very transparent and helpful from the start. Having the ability to demo the product in our environment before we signed on was extremely helpful in our selection process as it showed how easy it was to work with. After we signed on we were able to quickly reach our goals of eliminating several manual report processes and improving how we display our data. Overall it's been easy to adapt on both a development and user perspective, the customer support is always great, and the product does exactly what we need it to.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Watch the vidoes and try the free trial. There's plenty of information to show how it works from start to finish and the trial using your actual data makes the decision easy.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    It's very easy to use, easy to customize, the dashboards are visually appealing, and all my data stays on premise.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    Nothing at the moment.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    Nothing at the moment.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    Worked more with our key users & audience during the implementation process. We expected more technical difficulty in moving to a new product so kept the audience small, but it was easy to implement so we moved quicker with our back-end data design before working with our audience on what data questions they need answered.

    It does exactly what we needed it to: eliminate manual processes and improve how we present our data.

    Service & support - overall comment

    Everything is well documented or on the support forums so most questions are easy to answer, however for the more difficult questions the customer service is very responsive and knowledgeable.

    They were able to provide in-depth training to ensure we had an optimal set up.

    Excellent product, fast implementation, seamless integration and incredible support.

    Sisense is an excellent product with powerful reporting features and impressive dashboards, with an incredible support team. Integrated seamlessly with our QAD Enterprise Application's Progress Database, and various other best of breed software used in our organization. Implementation was very fast as Sisense team was able to grasp our business requirements very quickly and helped us create powerful dashboards.

    Determine your exact needs at the beginning itself.

    Able to connect with different databases, produce beautiful dashboards and excellent support.

    To get all requirements defined clearly by our departments. Engage Sisense team in case of very complex reporting.

    Excellent and Easy to Use BI Suite.

    Excellent technical support for an excellent product. It is being used as an important decision support tool. From the technical perspective, it provides an easy to use UI which we can found to be really friendly and comprehensive compared to other BI solutions. We had no problem since we implemented this solution and our client is very happy with their always up to date results, on sales, coverage, prices, inventory and many other topics.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Read the documentation, it contains most of the answers you will need.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    It is straight forward to create any dashboard via the user-friendly UI.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    Nothing.

    Fantastic and robust BI tool - excels at combining various data sources.

    Coming onto our Sisense project just past the onboarding phase and into my current job in a new field, getting integrated and fully immersed in the Sisense platform was a surprisingly simple and refreshing process. My previous experience as a SQL Database Analyst allowed me to ease into the platform perhaps quicker than someone with no SQL or programming experience. However, Sisense has many integrated features and substantial documentation that are user-friendly for specialists and newbies alike. It has proven especially useful at integrating various data sources (in our case, everything from straight excel/csv files to various database servers) into one centralized database. The community and support on their forums from their staff as well as other users also adds to the ease of integration. From a front-end perspective, data modeling and visualizations are simple to build and easy for end users to consume. In addition to the nice array of default visualizations provided, JavaScript plugin flexibility adds the ability to create and deploy anything you can imagine (many plugins are shared on the forums as well, and integration is rather simple). Personal support is also top notch. Customer Support is in frequent contact and ready to assist at any time. For anything that they are unable to support with personally, their ticketed support system is quick on response time and follow through every step of the way until you consider the issue resolved. Overall, I’d recommend this product to anyone looking for a BI tool that simplifies the complexities without compromising on the robustness of its features.

    Easy to work with Install, requires dedicated, skilled data staff to reach its potential.

    Sisense is easily installed and allows analysts to present data in visually appealing interactive dashboards. It is not a substitute for skilled data analysts who understand their data set. The potential of the application is great, expanding licensing can become expensive.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Be sure to clearly understand the audience of your dashboards and the scope of licenses required.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    Quick processing of data with relatively underpowered cloud server. Great real time, customizable dashboards.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    The product is complicated and requires skilled staff who invest their time in training to get the most from the product.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    Sisense is continually improving the product, an additional improvement would be to allow more visual customization of the dashboards.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    Our implementation was smooth and the product was useful for managing ticket volumes and SLA, there is no major changes we would make.

    Deployment was easy, more or less a simple install on a cloud server that Fujitsu already provided.

    Like - edgy and modern look and feel, superior performance and handling of large data sets, flexible and customizable through scripts. Plus - on premise deployment option

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Take time to define requirements, use cases and deployment model. Do you need BI tool which works out of box with no required deployment or custom queries (Domo) or on the other end of spectrum a tool allowing great level of details in writing complex sql queries (Tableau)? Sisense falls neatly in the middle of this spectrum with the nice set of features and performance, but still relatively simple and easy to use.

    Will add later after gaining more experience

    Solid, Flexible, Transformative

    Overall Comment

    Sisense met the need for updating our reporting and analytics infrastructure. While we initially could not figure out scaling to large data sets, working with professional services provided the guidance we needed to successfully deploy a solution that exceeds the capabilities of our previous platform. We have been pleased with flexibility and performance, and more than pleased with the professional services support. Output formats are still not as clean as we would like, and advanced features can take more technical expertise than we might prefer, but overall we see the product continuing to mature, and the team very responsive, so we expect these areas will continue to improve.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Be prepared to write, or at least copy/paste, Javascript for more advanced features of the presentation. Even if you don't plan to write plug-ins from scratch, some knowledge is helpful in understanding the scripts they may provide for certain options.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    Our development time and effort are reduced. We are able to provide larger data sets in shorter periods of time.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    Limited report output options.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    New releases are more frequent than our typical product update cycle, and sometimes updates contain changes incompatible with the previous version.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    Rely on Professional Service more early on, rather than figure it out ourselves. Deploy to the user base sooner.
