    The new release has started dialog on how to automate even more business processes.

    Overall Comment

    We migrated from a previous, older release of Autosys to the most current version, changing underlying architecture in the process. We were very pleased that the upgrade went well and both production control and application developers were pleased with the new solution as it's much easier to manage, navigate, and update.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Automate your business processes as much as possible - reduce human error, and increase productivity. Get rid of manual processes.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    Intuitive user interface.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    nothing.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    nothing

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    Do it sooner! We were delayed 4 years due to Outsourcing iniatives.

    Product capabilities - overall comment

    Excited about migrating our client-side FTP jobs to Autosys so we can eliminate a risky, legacy environment to our current monitored and supported Autosys.

    Service & support - overall comment

    We ran into an issue we did not encounter in testing, with a legacy script. CA Support provided the correct resolution within hours.

    Enlist CA support - very positive experience when we eventually dealt with them.

    Better documentation.

    Design before executing. Understand your events & applications before implementing.

    In the POC we were able to prove that this product works only with AD & UNIX.

    Analyst who worked with us had full knowledge of system. He was very friendly and accomodated all our needs.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Get the overall business needs on how password management should be. Consider all applications that are critical. Don't include the ones that are not KFA which will make implementation difficult.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    As promised, they have proved that PIM works in TJX.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    User navigation and limitation.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    Adding other applications to PIM. There were API needs which we were not able to do during POC.

    Yes. Consider more applications to manage with this tool.

    Tool was unstable and it still is.
