    Best tool in existence to manage all apple products in your enterprise.

    Overall Comment

    Overall, we are very happy with Jamf. Onboarding was very easy because they sent two experts to help us install the product. The dedicated tech support person is a plus.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    I would suggest looking into other providers and seeing their features so that you understand how much beter Jamf is. When you do, ask if they have zero day support for new iOS and Mac OS versions when released.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    I love the ease of use. The fact that I can teach someone how to use it in just a few minutes.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    I don't like that you can't separate access to packages with Casper Admin depending on the Site you belong to. If you have access to Casper Admin you can see and potentially delete packages uploaded by another administrator.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    I wish they allowed us to see a map of where our supervised devices are located. But I understand that this may be a limitation imposed by Apple.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    We would probably have started to run it on a linux server from the start instead of running it from a Mac OS X server at the beginning.

    Jamf's Customer Service is out of this world amazing!

    Jamf is one Vender That I will always love working with their customer service team is always friendly and top notch looking for ways to help!

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    If you are looking for strong customer service & a user base that is always willing to help go with jamf, it takes a little bit to set up but is worth it!

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    All in one Management tool no need for multi Software.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    Not willing to give the awesome Patch management shirts!

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    nothing.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    We would start with jamf from the day it started! we tried ARD and other tools but nothing compares!

    Jamf really does know Mac enterprise management.

    Overall Comment

    Jamf Casper Suite has given us a way to manage FileVault encryption on all of our Mac Systems as well as create our own self service portal to allow end users to install and update their own software from a vetted custom catalog that we created. This just works!

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    It helps to have someone on your staff that understands how to program perl and can customize the templates that Jamf gives you with the Casper suite.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    It makes SCCM for PCs look like the old, archaic mess that it truly is.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    Nothing.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    I really don't know.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    Implement Jamf sooner.

    Jamf leads the Apple management sector for a reason

    Jamf is a wonderful company to work with, and their management suite is a breeze to use. They stay on the cutting edge of Apple technology, often having software features available ahead of Apples official releases.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Purcahse a training pass(or two) and USE IT!

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    jamf pro has a strong foundation of tools and utilities built in, but also supports the infinite possibilities that individual institutions need to implement to meet their needs.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    Our cloud hosted management server has had issues with the recent patch management features. We share our server with other sites across our state, and this has caused issues. We divide ourselves by 'sites', a built-in divider that jamf has implemented. A lot of the features of jamf pro are unable to be scoped to individual sites currently, so this has effected our ability to use some features.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    we enrolled our devices with an existing Munki server, which missed quite a few machines. If I had the chance, I would have done a user-initiated enrollment followed by one-on-ones with users who didn't enroll. I would have also enhanced our Self-Service offerings prior to enrollment in order to encourage users to participate willingly, doing our Self-Service advertising for us.

    Jamf PRO is the best solution for MAC management.

    Easy install and easy to learn.

    NONE.

    Hard to improve on a product that works.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    Get Jamf PRO as soon as we had macs in our environment.

    Casper suite has worked well however installs of updates for the product have not always been as easy as they need to be.

    keep your jss organized.

    Implementing Jamf Pro was easy, and using its tools and features has been very successful.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Jamf can do everything you need for enterprise systems management and MDM.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    The level of Apple integration - VPP, DEP, Apple School Manager, Apple Push Network, etc. Easy to leverage all these technologies for many deployment strategies.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    Deploy the JAMF client more quickly to all our endpoints!

    JUMPSTART ROCKS!

    The Jumpstart training was probably the best thing about starting out with JAMF. Other than that the user support through JAMF Nation rocks.

    What one piece of advice would you give other prospective customers?

    Be prepared to get your socks knocked off. JAMF was way easier to deploy than I could have imagined.

    What do you like most about the product or service?

    Ease of deployment and on going support for issues we have discovered.

    What do you dislike most about the product?

    No support for other platforms.

    What one thing do you wish the vendor did differently?

    Offer cheaper on going support for training of more staff.

    If you could start over, what would your organization do differently?

    Involve more people in the initial training and get more support people involved.

    Understand the cost savings across all areas - efficiency, business inventory insight, compliance, lower staffing requirements

    The quickness of setup and ability to get deeply integrated with it
