We are very pleased with ManageEngine Desktop Central. It provides us all the featiures we require to manage our endpoints. Desktop Central also integrates with ServiceDesk Plus.

The product has evolved considerably since its inception in our organization. Support from the vendor was above and beyond any reasonable expectations, fixing some issues we encountered in very quick order and tailoring some parts of the application to our requirements. They took all enhancement requests and many have been implemented in the product making it far better over time.

As the sole IT person for our firm, I needed a suite of tools to make my job easier. Desktop Central includes everything I need at an affordable price point. Installation and product updates are straightforward. I've opened a ticket with support one time. We communicated through email, and they were quick to respond and resolve my problem.

This was a system integration project for a technically sophisticated end-user. End-user was pleased with the operational efficiencies enabled by Desktop Central.

The product is capable of so many functions, it's like I bought several products in one. The ability to deploy new software and software updates in bulk is easy and helps me stay in compliance with software security patches. It also meters software usage allowing me to determine which products are over and under licensed.

They have a good software support model that is built directly into the servicesite that we use, and it is searchable, and easy to navigate.

Manage Engine is part of the ZOHO family of products.They are very customer focused and I have never had an inquiry or question abandoned of left unanswered. Their deployment support is a very hands on, quick responses and thorough. Very knowledgable support staff and useful online knowledge-base.Performance of the product has been excellent and easy to integrate. Maintenance is very easy and has never caused a problem or had unexpected consequences. The company provides training and an active user community that the programmers listen to, which is great. The cost os excellent especially given the value it provides to the IT team and users that take advantage of the client-side tools. Desktop Central integrates well with their other products very easily, though there is sometimes some overlap between them.Ultimately I think that is good, as it allows you to get what you need from the product you need, and not buy some super suite and only use a fraction of what you are paying for. The software is easy to learn and integrates well with AD, GPO, and other network components. We don not spend time troubleshooting client logs. It really and great tool. The only bad thing, which is not horrible, once you understand, is the licensing when you upgrade a major version. Be sure you understand if your current licenses will work in the new version.You may have to purchase and upgrade license for those, which is not very expensive (this was on their OS Deployer software).It actually helped us in managing hardware. Overall a very good experience with the company. They host annual user conferences across the globe.If you can attend, I highly recommend it.
